Virgin Atlantic<\/strong> announced Monday that it will offer new flights from London-Heathrow by summer 2025: Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), Accra (Ghana) and Toronto (Canada).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New route to Riyadh<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the first time, the airline will launch a daily service to Riyadh King Khalid International Airport from March 30, 2025, which will be operated by Airbus A330neo aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Riyadh is also home to the airline\u2019s SkyTeam partner, Saudia.\u202fThe partnership will offer onward connections to Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi, with further destinations within Saudi Arabia and to Bangladesh and China to follow as the airline continues to grow its strategic partnership with Saudia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Return to Accra<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Virgin Atlantic will return to Ghana for the first time since 2013, with flights to Kotoka International Airport in the country’s capital from May 1, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The daily service will operate on a Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft boasting the airline\u2019s Upper Class, Premium and Economy Delight, Classic and Light cabins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

O Canada!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline has just announced its expansion into North America, with its return to Canada. The airline’s first route to the country in more than a decade will begin on March 30, 2025, with direct flights between London-Heathrow and Toronto Pearson International Airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new service will operate on a mix of aircraft including the A330neo, providing optimal connectivity for customers traveling to India via London, from newly launched destination Bengaluru, alongside Mumbai and Delhi, which both operate twice daily. The Toronto route is operated as part of our joint venture with Air France, Delta and KLM, and in partnership with Canadian airline, Westjet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
