Avianca<\/strong> was recognized for its work in the prevention of human trafficking during the \u201cLa Muralla Soy Yo\u201d <\/strong>awards. These are organized by Fundaci\u00f3n Renacer and highlight innovative actions in the prevention and protection of children and adolescents against commercial sexual exploitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHuman trafficking is an invisible crime, directed against the most vulnerable people in society. To attack it, Avianca has created very valuable alliances with the Renacer Foundation and the Attorney General’s Office, so that more travelers, more victims and our employees know how to identify and report this crime when they detect it. This recognition is a key sign that shows us that we are moving in the right direction,\u201d said Felipe Andr\u00e9s G\u00f3mez Vivas, Avianca’s Director of Institutional Relations and Sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2018, Avianca has been strengthening its commitment against human trafficking through strategic alliances with Fundaci\u00f3n Renacer and the Attorney General’s Office. As a result, the airline has been able to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
