Avianca<\/strong> announced Thursday that it has established a strategic alliance with Marca Pa\u00eds Colombia (Country Brand), an initiative led by the National Government through ProColombia. This collaboration highlights the airline’s local identity and its valuable role in promoting the country abroad, reaffirming its commitment to Colombia and consolidating an important milestone in its trajectory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the company announced its intention to operate two new direct routes from Bogot\u00e1 to Arauca and Quibd\u00f3, regions with great potential for tourism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSince our first flight between Barranquilla and Puerto Berr\u00edo until today, Avianca has been flying, believing and betting on Colombia for more than 104 years. We are proud to become a Marca Pa\u00eds and to reaffirm our commitment by doing everything necessary to fly to Quibd\u00f3 and Arauca, connecting even more to deep Colombia, to our people and opening a door for millions of tourists to get to know the richness of our country. More than 104 years flying in Colombia<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Avianca has been connecting Colombia and its regions for more than a century, operating more than 80 routes to 23 domestic destinations from San Andres to Leticia, and close to 40 international destinations from London to Buenos Aires. In addition, more than 10,000 of its 14,000 employees are based in Colombia and more than 100 of its 140 aircraft proudly fly the Colombian flag around the world. The airline also works permanently with more than 20 partners for the well-being of the communities and the care of the environment in the territories where it operates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, today the amenity kit of Avianca’s Business Class experience features designs by Mola Sasa, in collaboration with the Gunadule community; the ‘Treasures in the Sky’ of Colombian entrepreneurs fly on its planes and, under the slogan #TodasLasFormasDeVolar, has been present in the country’s main festivities, celebrating the richness of the Barranquilla Carnival, the Flower Fair in Medellin, the Francisco El Hombre Festival in Riohacha and the Vallenato Festival in Valledupar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
