{"id":168605,"date":"2024-10-08T12:06:03","date_gmt":"2024-10-08T12:06:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/?p=168605"},"modified":"2024-10-08T12:06:04","modified_gmt":"2024-10-08T12:06:04","slug":"air-france-begins-to-retire-airbus-a330s-from-its-fleet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2024\/10\/air-france-begins-to-retire-airbus-a330s-from-its-fleet.html","title":{"rendered":"Air France begins to retire Airbus A330s from its fleet"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Air France&#8217;s<\/strong> first Airbus A330-200s have been quietly withdrawn from its fleet since late August, according to a report in Journal de l&#8217;Aviation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Four aircraft joined the Tarmac Aerosave facility at Tarbes-Lourdes-Pyr\u00e9n\u00e9es airport between August 26 and September 30. They are MSN 500, 448, 519 and 481 (F-GZCH, F-GZCC, F-GZCL and F-GZCF respectively), delivered in 2001 and 2002. It should be noted that one of the aircraft was flown from N&#8217;Djamena, Chad, following an incident in late May with a container cargo vehicle during a storm. A fifth aircraft (MSN 465, F-GZCE) has been stationed in Toulouse for several days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2024\/09\/air-france-also-chooses-elon-musks-starlink-for-in-flight-internet.html\">Air France also chooses Elon Musk\u2019s Starlink for in-flight Internet<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, some nine Air France A330s continue to serve routes such as Abuja (Nigeria), Bangalore (India), Douala (Cameroon), Libreville (Gabon), Lom\u00e9 (Togo), Luanda (Angola), Malabo (Equatorial Guinea), N&#8217;Djamena, Pointe-Noire (Congo), Saint-Maarten and Yaound\u00e9 (Cameroon).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The airline&#8217;s A330s will be gradually
