{"id":168824,"date":"2024-10-15T14:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-10-15T14:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/?p=168824"},"modified":"2024-10-15T21:51:13","modified_gmt":"2024-10-15T21:51:13","slug":"icelandair-and-tap-air-portugal-sign-a-codeshare-agreement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2024\/10\/icelandair-and-tap-air-portugal-sign-a-codeshare-agreement.html","title":{"rendered":"Icelandair and TAP Air Portugal sign a codeshare agreement"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Icelandair <\/strong>and Portuguese airline <strong>TAP Air<\/strong> announced that they signed a codeshare agreement on Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The codeshare partnership will come into effect in the coming weeks and customers of both airlines will be able to connect between the airlines\u2019 networks in one ticket with their luggage checked all the way to their final destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2024\/10\/icelandair-starts-flights-to-lisbon-portugal.html\">Icelandair starts flights to Lisbon, Portugal<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TAP offers an extensive network of 90 destinations around the world, including Europe, Africa and South America. Icelandair\u2019s route network spans around 60 destinations in Europe and North America. Both airlines are known for their Stopover programs, offering passengers the opportunity to experience the airlines\u2019 home countries on their way between destinations, at no additional airfare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are excited to add TAP to our impressive list of codeshare partners. We recently started services to Lisbon and by sharing a code with TAP, we will be able to greatly increase connectivity for both airlines\u2019 customers\u201d, Bogi Nils Bogason, CEO Icelandair said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe believe that this partnership with Icelandair will enrich the portfolio of travel choices and destinations we offer to customers throughout our network.
