LATAM Airlines<\/strong> was the leading airline in Brazil in the third quarter of 2024, according to consolidated ANAC (National Civil Aviation Agency) data released Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In total, the airline had a share of almost 39% (RPK) of the Brazilian domestic market between July and September of this year. In international operations, the airline also leads with 23.45% of the total share (RPK) of flights linking Brazil with other countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2192 Delta and LATAM report a 68% growth in flights into two years of Joint Venture<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

September figures released by LATAM itself already indicated that the accumulated volume in the first six months of the Brazilian operation grew by 8.1% compared to the same month in 2023. According to ANAC, the company’s share (RPK) in the Brazilian domestic market was 38.2% in September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LATAM CARGO ALSO GROWS IN THE THIRD QUARTER OF THE YEAR<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

International cargo transported by LATAM Cargo from July to September grew 33% compared to the same period in 2023, reinforcing the leadership of the LATAM group’s cargo subsidiary in Brazil. More than 53,100 tons were transported between the country and abroad, compared to 40,000 tons in the third quarter of 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since the end of last year, LATAM Cargo has inaugurated three new international cargo routes: Miami-S\u00e3o Jos\u00e9 dos Campos (started with 2 and now has 3 weekly flights); Miami-Bras\u00edlia (2 weekly flights) and Amsterdam-Curitiba (2 weekly flights), in addition to increasing the number of weekly flights from 2 to 3 on the Miami-Florian\u00f3polis route inaugurated in 2020. In April of this year, the company launched its first cargo route between Europe and Florian\u00f3polis, which has two weekly flights and facilitates the transport of international cargo between Europe and Santa Catarina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the domestic market, cargo operations grew 28% in the third quarter compared to the same period in 2023. More than 33,200 tons of cargo were transported within Brazil, compared to 26,000 tons in the same period last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
