to fly to Istanbul as of September 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Icelandair<\/strong> on Thursday launched a new route connecting Reykjavik (Iceland) to Istanbul (T\u00fcrkiye) from September 5, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Flights will be available four times a week and will be operated on Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2024\/10\/icelandair-and-tap-air-portugal-sign-a-codeshare-agreement.html\">Icelandair and TAP Air Portugal sign a codeshare agreement<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the announcement of flights to Istanbul, Icelandair and Turkish Airlines will also further expand their codeshare partnership, first announced in the summer of 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI am looking forward to adding the great destination of Istanbul to our extensive route network and further expanding the partnership with Turkish Airlines, opening up convenient connections between Iceland and
