These aircraft bear the names of Vigo and Baleares in honor of the first domestic destinations to which the airline started flying six years ago and which represented a change in the connectivity model of the Canary Islands with the rest of Spain, both in terms of number of destinations with direct connection and passenger service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2024\/10\/airbus-delivers-first-a321xlr-to-iberia.html\">Airbus delivers first A321XLR to Iberia<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the arrival of these two aircraft, Binter now has a fleet of 40 aircraft, 28 ATRs and 12 Embraer, to which four more E195-E2s are expected to be added, bringing the total to 44.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This fleet increase will allow the airline to strengthen connectivity, adding frequencies to some connections and adding new destinations to the current 28 with direct flights from the Canary Islands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"
