The controller of the National Civil Aviation Administration (ANAC), Mar\u00eda Julia Cordero, signed a resolution modifying Part 61, Section 61.3 (h), of the Argentine Civil Aviation Regulations (RAAC). From now on, for domestic air operations, the maximum age for flights requiring a single pilot is raised from 60 to 66 years old. Meanwhile, for aircraft requiring two pilots, the maximum age increases from 65 to 68.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For international air operations, the age limitations established by the regulations in force in each country in which they operate must be respected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This update responds to the growing demand for pilots in the aeronautical market, which makes it necessary to modify the age limit for pilots to continue operating, as long as they meet the knowledge, experience and expertise requirements demanded by the Aeronautical Authority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This measure is in line with international trends, where various aeronautical regulations have made retirement and continuity of employment ages more flexible, allowing a greater extension of the age limit for pilot license holders to exercise their functions in commercial air transport operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The modification of the regulations will contribute to the increase of pilots available in the market and will optimize human resources in the sector, adapting to the new dynamics of the global labor market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
