{"id":169908,"date":"2024-12-05T12:00:43","date_gmt":"2024-12-05T12:00:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/?p=169908"},"modified":"2024-12-05T17:07:01","modified_gmt":"2024-12-05T17:07:01","slug":"latam-unveils-its-new-premium-business-cabin-inspired-by-south-american-landscapes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2024\/12\/latam-unveils-its-new-premium-business-cabin-inspired-by-south-american-landscapes.html","title":{"rendered":"LATAM unveils its new Premium Business cabin inspired by South American landscapes"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>With the aim of continuing to improve its fleet and the in-flight experience for passengers,<strong> LATAM Airlines <\/strong>introduced its new Premium Business cabin, which combines privacy, comfort and a design inspired by the natural beauty of South America, which will debut in the first quarter of 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Developed in conjunction with PriestmanGoode, the Recaro R7 suites integrate South American elements: granite tables inspired by the Andes, interior contours that evoke the sand dunes of Brazil, and copper accents that pay homage to the region&#8217;s heritage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new business class suites are designed for privacy and relaxation, offering fully private seating with sliding doors, making LATAM the first South American airline to introduce this feature. Each suite transforms into a comfortable bed, ensuring a restful sleep experience on long-haul flights. Passengers also enjoy direct aisle access, dedicated shoe compartments, ample storage space and USB-A and USB-C charging ports. For entertainment, each suite includes an 18-inch high-definition screen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2024\/12\/latam-restarts-flights-between-lima-and-rosario-argentina.html\">LATAM restarts flights between Lima and Rosario, Argentina<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis new design is a celebration of our region, its landscapes and the rich culture of South America. By incorporating these influences into our cabins, we offer a superior travel experience that reflects our cultural identity, while prioritizing privacy, comfort and convenience,\u201d said Jaime Cornejo, LATAM Airlines&#8217; Cabin Interior and IFEC Manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first aircraft to have this cabin available is being modified at LATAM&#8217;s maintenance and repair center, located in S\u00e3o Carlos, where the group invested US$7 million in a new specialized hangar for Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In September, LATAM began a process of renovating 24 of its Boeing 787 aircraft, with a total investment of US$ 360 million, completely refurbishing cabin interiors with new seats, in-flight entertainment and design improvements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2
