{"id":169977,"date":"2024-12-06T13:30:48","date_gmt":"2024-12-06T13:30:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/?p=169977"},"modified":"2024-12-09T12:46:05","modified_gmt":"2024-12-09T12:46:05","slug":"latam-inaugurates-new-route-between-recife-and-santiago-de-chile","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2024\/12\/latam-inaugurates-new-route-between-recife-and-santiago-de-chile.html","title":{"rendered":"LATAM inaugurates new route between Recife and Santiago de Chile"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>LATAM Airlines <\/strong>inaugurated this Friday its non-stop flights between Recife and Santiago, its ninth regular route between Brazil and Chile, after S\u00e3o Paulo-Santiago, Brasilia-Santiago, Rio de Janeiro-Santiago, Belo Horizonte-Santiago, Curitiba-Santiago, Florian\u00f3polis-Santiago, Fortaleza-Santiago and Porto Alegre-Santiago (to be resumed in January 2025).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The route, which has an average duration of 6 hours 20 minutes, will operate once a week, on Fridays, using A320 aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2024\/12\/latam-group-and-aerolineas-argentinas-announce-codeshare-agreements.html\">LATAM Group and Aerolineas Argentinas announce codeshare agreements<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Compared to a flight with a connection at S\u00e3o Paulo-Guarulhos or Brasilia airports, the new route reduces the average travel time between the capital of Pernambuco and Chile by three hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLATAM is bringing the world closer to Recife. In addition to Santiago, passengers taking off from Pernambuco can now easily reach Auckland, Sydney, Melbourne, as well as other destinations in Chile itself, such as Easter Island, Calama, Punta Arenas and Puerto Montt,\u201d says Eduardo Macedo, LATAM Brazil&#8217;s Public Affairs Manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The airline also currently offers flights from Recife to 5 domestic destinations in Brazil: Brasilia, S\u00e3o Paulo\/Congonhas, Fortaleza, Rio de Janeiro\/Gale\u00e3o and S\u00e3o Paulo\/Guarulhos).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"related-topics\">Related
