Iberia Express<\/strong> will reinforce its capacity from December 19 to January 8 in order to improve connectivity and facilitate family and tourist travel during the Christmas holidays. During this period, the airline will add 166 flights and more than 28,000 additional seats to those initially scheduled for the holidays in the Balearic and Canary Islands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cChristmas is a time when connectivity takes on greater relevance. For this reason, we have reinforced our main routes to offer our customers a greater variety of schedules and connection options and, thus, facilitate their trips,\u201d said Isabel Rodr\u00edguez, commercial director of Iberia Express.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The biggest increases in capacity will be concentrated on routes to the Canary Islands, where the airline has reinforced its program with 126 flights – 12% more than its base program – and close to 23,000 seats, with increases on all islands. Tenerife leads the growth with 38 additional flights (14 on Tenerife North and 24 on Tenerife South), followed by Gran Canaria with 36 additional flights, Lanzarote with 22, Fuerteventura with 18 and La Palma with 12.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On routes to the Balearic Islands, the company will also add capacity during the Christmas season, with 40 flights that represent a 9% increase over its base program, and almost 5,500 additional seats. Mallorca will have 30 additional flights and 6,000 seats, 10% more than initially scheduled for these dates. In addition, 10 flights will be added to the route between Madrid and Menorca: more than 1,700 seats to facilitate travel for both residents and tourists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Internationally, the airline is also strengthening its offer with nearly 3,500 additional seats on routes with Marrakech (plus 14%) and Dublin (plus 11%), which will see the largest increases in seats, in addition to Berlin and London.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
