Delta Air Lines <\/strong>will resume its seasonal flights between New York and Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) on Friday, December 20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The route, which will be available until March 27, 2025, will operate one daily flight on Boeing 767-300ER aircraft, with capacity for 215 passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The return of the Rio de Janeiro\u2013New York route is crucial for Delta and our customers in both countries. We launched the flight during the Southern Hemisphere\u2019s summer because many Brazilians travel to the U.S. for vacation, while Americans seek warmth in Rio during their winter,\u201d said Delta’s Regional Sales Manager in Brazil, Ricardo de Oliveira.\u202f<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the return of this seasonal route, the flight between Atlanta and Rio de Janeiro, which currently operates three times a week on a Boeing 767-300, will become daily from December 19 through March 28, 2025. During this period, Delta will deploy a larger aircraft to fly the route, the A330-300, which seats 282 passengers.\u202f\u202f\u202f<\/p>\n\n\n\n
