Arajet<\/strong> obtained U.S. approval to operate three new non-stop routes from the Dominican Republic: New York, Miami and Puerto Rico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This authorization follows the entry into force of the \u201cOpen Skies\u201d agreement between the two countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2192 Arajet transports its highest number of passengers ever in November<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cArajet had applied for these routes almost two years ago, but it was not until now, with the official implementation of the agreement, that the airline was able to obtain approval from the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT),\u201d said Tourism Minister David Collado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNow all Dominican airlines will be able to fly to more destinations, and increase competitiveness with the most important market for the country: the United States,\u201d Collado posted on the X social network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cArajet is very pleased with the DOT approval of our first three routes to the US. We have already started the FAA approval process, and if everything goes according to plan, we expect to start flying in the second quarter of 2025,\u201d said Victor M. Pacheco Mendez, CEO of Arajet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
