Starting March 30, 2025, travelers will be able to enjoy direct flights from Bogota to Tampa, Medellin to Fort Lauderdale, and San Jose (Costa Rica) to Miami. These new services are part of the airline&#8217;s ongoing efforts to expand its network of destinations and offer greater convenience to its customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The routes will be operated by Airbus A320 family aircraft with capacity for 180 passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2024\/12\/avianca-inaugurates-new-route-connecting-cartagena-with-guayaquil.html\">Avianca inaugurates new route connecting Cartagena with Guayaquil<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The airline will offer four weekly frequencies (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday) on the Bogot\u00e1-Tampa route and one daily frequency on the Medell\u00edn-Fort Lauderdale and San Jos\u00e9-Miami routes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>David Alem\u00e1n, Avianca&#8217;s Sales Director for Colombia and South America, expressed his enthusiasm for the expansion of Avianca&#8217;s network: \u201cWe are very excited to continue strengthening connectivity from Bogot\u00e1, Medell\u00edn and San Jos\u00e9 to the United States, and also to be very close to inaugurating a new destination: Tampa. We will continue to work with authorities, airports and partners to make these routes a success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With these new routes, Avianca not only expands its international reach but also offers its customers more direct connection options to the United States. The airline&#8217;s commitment to strategic destinations underscores its commitment to passenger comfort and accessibility, consolidating its position as a leader in the Latin American aviation
