Low-cost carrier Sky Airline<\/strong> revealed Tuesday that it will expand its route network to include a new direct service connecting Buenos Aires-Ezeiza with Salvador de Bahia. This announcement marks a significant milestone for the airline, as it is their first direct connection between Argentina and Brazil, a strategic move that promises to revolutionize air travel in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new route will begin operations on April 2, offering two weekly flights on Wednesdays and Sundays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are starting 2025 on a high note by announcing a new direct route that will connect Argentina and Brazil in less than five hours. Through this connection, which will bring two iconic cities like Buenos Aires and Salvador de Bah\u00eda closer together, we hope to help around 2,400 travelers per month fly between these destinations, fulfilling our goal of making the sky accessible to everyone\u201d, Franco Chaparro, Sky\u2019s Sales Manager, commented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fares and Promotions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To celebrate the launch, Sky Airline has introduced promotional fares available until January 12. Passengers can purchase round-trip tickets from US$355 or 451,944 Argentine pesos, including taxes, through the airline\u2019s official website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attractions of Salvador de Bah\u00eda<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Salvador de Bah\u00eda, located in northeastern Brazil, is a prominent tourist destination known for its rich Afro-Brazilian culture, vibrant music, and beautiful beaches. Places like Porto da Barra, Itapu\u00e1, and Stella Maris are perfect for sun and sea lovers. Additionally, the historic neighborhood of Pelourinho, with its cobblestone streets and colonial architecture, offers a unique cultural experience. Salvador also boasts over 300 historic churches, a testament to its significance during colonization and its time as Brazil’s first capital from 1549 to 1763.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this new route, Sky Airline reinforces its commitment to connecting South America and offering accessible options for travelers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline currently operates Santiago de Chile-Buenos Aires, Santiago-El Calafate, Santiago-Mendoza, Santiago-Bariloche and Lima-Buenos Aires routes in Argentina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
