LATAM Airlines Group<\/strong> closes 2024 with historic figures that consolidate its leadership in the Latin American aviation industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company transported 82 million passengers in 2024, marking an 11.0% growth compared to 2023 and achieving the highest passenger count in its history. This milestone was accompanied by sustained capacity growth, innovative international routes, and a strong performance in the cargo segment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Growth Figures<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In December 2024, LATAM transported 7.3 million passengers, an increase of 5.4% compared to December 2023. Annually, LATAM’s consolidated capacity, measured in available seat kilometers (ASK), grew by 15.1%, achieving a load factor of 84.3%, up by 1.2 percentage points from 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The dynamic international market drove much of the growth, with a 16.1% increase in international capacity in December. This performance was supported by the opening of new routes strategically connecting Latin American cities with key tourist destinations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expansion in the Cargo Segment<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

LATAM excelled not only in passenger transport but also in the cargo sector. During December 2024, cargo capacity, measured in available ton-kilometers (ATK), reached 747 million, representing a growth of 11.8% compared to December 2023. This growth strengthens LATAM\u2019s position as a key player in goods transportation both regionally and globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Infrastructure and Operations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

LATAM Airlines operates in five domestic markets in Latin America: Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru, in addition to offering international flights to Europe, Oceania, Africa, the United States, and the Caribbean. Its modern fleet includes Boeing 767, 777, 787 aircraft and Airbus A321, A320neo, A319, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the cargo segment, the subsidiaries LATAM Cargo Chile, LATAM Cargo Colombia, and LATAM Cargo Brazil operate with 22 specialized cargo aircraft, in addition to access to the group\u2019s passenger aircraft cargo holds. This allows them to operate exclusive international routes and offer personalized services to meet customer needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
