In response to the growing demand for flights to Brazil, LATAM Airlines Group<\/strong> has significantly increased its offering of flights between Santiago, Chile, and various Brazilian cities for January and February 2025. This increase represents 50% more than the same period last year, with approximately 2,500 flights available for passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expansion of Routes and Increased Frequencies<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

LATAM has strengthened its presence in Brazil, a strategic market for the airline. With the inauguration of three new routes in recent months, the company now operates a total of nine direct routes between Santiago and Brazilian cities such as Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Florian\u00f3polis, Curitiba, Brasilia, Belo Horizonte, Porto Alegre, Recife, and Fortaleza. This translates to over 145 weekly flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2192 LATAM resumes flights between Santiago (Chile) and Bariloche<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rio de Janeiro is one of the most popular destinations for Chilean travelers this summer. LATAM has increased frequencies on the Santiago – Rio de Janeiro route, offering more than five direct daily flights, an 85% increase compared to the 2024 season. Meanwhile, flights to Florian\u00f3polis have also seen a notable rise, with a 124% increase in frequencies, reaching three direct daily flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sao Paulo: A Key Connection Point<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sao Paulo remains a crucial connection point, with a 20% increase in frequencies compared to last summer, reaching 10 daily flights. This improvement facilitates passengers\u2019 connections to various regions within Brazil, including cities like Brasilia, Salvador de Bahia, Macei\u00f3, Recife, and Natal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Direct Routes and Resumption of Suspended Flights<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of 2024, LATAM inaugurated new direct routes from Santiago to Recife and Fortaleza, and since January 3, 2025, it has begun operating flights to Porto Alegre. This latter destination had its flights suspended for seven months due to flooding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Network Expansion and Travel Experience Enhancements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, LATAM Airlines Group boasts an extensive network of 150 destinations in 27 countries across four continents: America, Europe, Africa, and Oceania. Additionally, to enhance the travel experience on short and medium-haul routes, LATAM has implemented onboard wifi service on 90% of its single-aisle aircraft in Chile and 100% in Brazil, further optimizing passenger comfort and connectivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
