Qatar Airways<\/strong>, recognized as the world’s best airline by Skytrax in 2024 for the eighth time, takes a significant step in its expansion by announcing two new destinations in South America. Starting in the summer of 2025, the airline will connect Doha with Bogot\u00e1 and Caracas, solidifying its position as a leader in global connectivity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Routes: Bogot\u00e1 and Caracas<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beginning mid-2025, Qatar Airways will operate two weekly flights (on Wednesdays and Sundays) from Doha to Bogot\u00e1, with a continuation to Sim\u00f3n Bol\u00edvar International Airport in Caracas. The return flight from Caracas will be nonstop to Doha, setting a new standard for connectivity between the Middle East and South America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This expansion makes Qatar Airways the first and only airline to offer direct flights from the Middle East to Colombia and the only Middle Eastern carrier operating in Venezuela, strategically positioning itself as a bridge between these regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emirates currently offers flights between Dubai and Bogot\u00e1 with a stopover in Miami.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fleet and Onboard Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The route will be serviced by Boeing 777-200LR aircraft, featuring 42 Business Class seats and 234 Economy Class seats. These flights offer passengers the opportunity to experience Qatar Airways\u2019 renowned hospitality, combining luxury, comfort, and award-winning service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Impact on Global Connectivity<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this addition, Qatar Airways increases its destinations in the Americas to 16, including key cities such as Dallas, Miami, New York, S\u00e3o Paulo, and Toronto. Furthermore, its global network of over 170 destinations will provide travelers from Bogot\u00e1 and Caracas with efficient connections to the Middle East and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
