LATAM Airlines Group<\/strong> concluded 2024 with historic operational and financial performance, solidifying its position as a leader in the Latin American aviation industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Record Financial Performance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

LATAM reported net profits of US$977 million, nearly doubling the earnings from the previous year. Operational revenues reached US$13.034 billion, a 10.6% increase compared to 2023. This growth was driven by a significant rise in cargo revenue, which increased by 29.1% in the fourth quarter compared to the same period the previous year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The group achieved an adjusted operating income of US$1.660 billion, with an adjusted operating margin of 12.7%, 1.5 percentage points higher than in 2023, marking an annual record. Additionally, LATAM ended the year with liquidity of US$3.533 billion and a net debt ratio of 1.7 times. Net cash generation exceeded US$243 million, even after paying dividends of US$175 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Operational Growth<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company transported 82 million passengers in 2024, the highest number in its history, and increased its consolidated capacity by 15.1% compared to the previous year. The company also received 16 new aircraft, bringing its total fleet to 347 planes. Its destination network includes 151 cities in 27 countries, and it achieved a consolidated load factor of 84.3%, surpassing the 2023 record by 1.2 percentage points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commitment to Customer Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2024, the group continued to position itself as one of the top five global airline groups in terms of punctuality and achieved a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 51 points, the highest in its history. The cabin refurbishment of 100% of its narrow-body fleet and 54% of its wide-body fleet included new seats and onboard entertainment, enhancing the passenger experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The group also made progress in implementing free Wi-Fi for LATAM Pass customers on domestic and regional flights. In Brazil, the service covers 100% of the fleet, while in the subsidiaries in Chile, Peru, Colombia, and Ecuador, it reaches 75%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sustainability and Social Responsibility<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company reached significant sustainability milestones in 2024. It eliminated 97% of single-use plastics in its operations, equivalent to more than 1,700 tons. Additionally, it recycled 280 tons of waste on domestic flights. Since 2010, it has avoided the emission of 4.5 million tons of CO2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It also signed the first “Sustainability-Linked Credit” for a total of US$300 million, making it the only airline in South America with such a financial operation. In December, it rejoined the Dow Jones Sustainability Index and was recognized as the fifth most sustainable airline group globally and the first in the Americas by S&P Global.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Future Outlook<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With its renewed purpose of “Elevating Every Journey, Always,” LATAM Airlines Group demonstrated in 2024 its ability to grow sustainably, offer excellent service, and maintain its leadership in the region. The return to the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and the refinancing of its debt reinforce its financial position and investment capacity to continue expanding its destination network and improving the passenger experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The year 2024 stands as a period of transformation and success for LATAM, laying the groundwork for an even more promising future in commercial aviation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
