The journey takes approximately five hours and will be operated with Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, which have a capacity for 176 passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this addition to the region&#8217;s air travel offerings, air traffic between Bogot\u00e1 and Brazil is expected to grow by more than 15%, solidifying the Colombian capital as a key destination for Brazilian tourists and businesspeople.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2025\/01\/brazilian-government-supports-gol-azul-merger-to-strengthen-national-aviation.html\">Brazilian Government Supports Gol-Azul Merger to Strengthen National Aviation<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Mayor of Bogot\u00e1, Carlos Fernando Gal\u00e1n, emphasized the importance of this new route in the city&#8217;s strategy to strengthen its international presence. &#8220;The arrival of this route aligns with our goal of opening Bogot\u00e1 to the world. This route will connect two capitals and pave the way for thousands of opportunities. We aim to multiply the number of tourists visiting us from Brazil,&#8221; he stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Growth in Air Traffic Between Colombia and Brazil<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Air traffic between Colombia and Brazil has shown steady growth. In 2023, there were more than 2,800 flights between the &#8220;South American giant&#8221; and Bogot\u00e1, with an estimated annual growth of 8% to 9% in air connectivity. Additionally, the Colombian capital received a total of 1,865,507 international visitors, of which 82,626 were from Brazil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"related-topics\">Related
