This expansion will provide passengers with more travel options between Canada and the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The service will begin on June 1, 2025, with one daily flight, increasing to two flights per day during the peak summer season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Onboard Experience<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Flights will be operated with De Havilland Dash 8-400 aircraft, which feature 78 seats and offer a superior passenger experience, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>No middle seats, enhancing onboard comfort.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Complimentary premium snacks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Free beer and wine served in glassware.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2024\/12\/porter-airlines-landing-in-san-diego-and-palm-springs-for-the-first-time.html\">Porter Airlines landing in San Diego and Palm Springs for the first time<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>PorterReserve, a special fare that includes:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Extra legroom.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Travel insurance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Priority check-in and boarding.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Included checked baggage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Porter Airlines&#8217; Expansion in New York<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The new route to Newark strengthens Porter Airlines&#8217; presence at this airport, where it already operates flights to Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport and Ottawa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, it complements the launch of a new route between Toronto-Pearson and LaGuardia, which will begin operations this spring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Connections with Other Routes and International Networks<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Through Montreal Airport, passengers will have access to various connections within Canada, including destinations such as Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, and Halifax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Furthermore, Porter Airlines&#8217; flights are synchronized to facilitate connections with the European network of its partner Air Transat, expanding international travel options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Andrew Pierce, Vice President of Network Planning and Reporting at Porter Airlines, highlighted the strategic importance of this expansion: &#8220;Newark Airport has been a key part of Porter&#8217;s network since we launched our service between Billy Bishop and Newark in 2008. Adding a non-stop route from Montreal will make the New York area even more accessible to our passengers, providing them with more options when planning their trips to the Empire
