In a strategic move to strengthen its expansion in key markets, Volaris <\/strong>announced the addition of 30 new routes in Mexico, the United States, and Central America. This growth will not only boost connectivity in these regions but also promote tourism, the economy, and family ties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expansion of Domestic and International Routes<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The airline’s Executive Vice President, Holger Blankenstein, emphasized that this increase in routes reaffirms the company’s commitment to its customers, offering accessible, safe, and comfortable travel options. The operation of these routes will begin progressively starting March 20, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Increased Connectivity in Morelia and San Luis Potos\u00ed<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Morelia will add eight new routes, connecting with Mexicali, Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, Puerto Vallarta, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio, Ontario, and Sacramento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

San Luis Potos\u00ed will have three new routes to Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, and San Antonio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monterrey: New Domestic and International Connections<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Monterrey, Volaris will operate flights to Baj\u00edo, Tuxtla Guti\u00e9rrez, and Puerto Vallarta, in addition to the previously announced route to Toluca. In the international market, the airline will add flights to Denver, Miami, Houston, and Dallas-Fort Worth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Costa Rica: Greater Presence in North and Central America<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For its Costa Rican customers, Volaris is launching three new routes from San Jos\u00e9 to Tulum (Quintana Roo), Miami, and Orlando (Florida). These new options will complement the existing routes to Guadalajara, Canc\u00fan, Mexico City, San Salvador, and Guatemala, bringing the total number of routes from the Costa Rican capital to eight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New York Operations Relocation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting July 1, 2025, Volaris will move its operations from John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK) to Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey. From there, it will operate flights to Guadalajara and San Salvador.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expansion in the United States<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The airline will also inaugurate seven new routes in the United States:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
