The airline airBaltic i<\/strong>naugurated its new direct route between Tallinn (Estonia) and Barcelona (Spain) this Wednesday. This new service, with a flight duration of four hours, will initially operate twice a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays. Starting April 1st, the flights will shift to Tuesdays and Sundays, providing greater flexibility for travelers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Martin Gauss, President and CEO of airBaltic, emphasized the importance of this new route: “Tallinn is one of airBaltic’s base cities, and we are committed to continuously improving connectivity to offer more travel options to our customers. This new route expands travel alternatives and facilitates connections with the rest of the world, further strengthening our position as the leading airline in Estonia and the Baltic countries.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pricing and Modern Fleet<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ticket prices for the new Tallinn-Barcelona route start at 99 euros for Economy Class and 355 euros for Business Class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

airBaltic boasts one of the youngest fleets in Europe, consisting exclusively of Airbus A220-300 aircraft. Currently, the airline operates 50 of these aircraft and plans to double its fleet to nearly 100 units by 2030. These planes offer a superior flight experience, with wider seats, larger windows, more overhead bin space, and improved lavatories. Additionally, airBaltic will be the first European airline to equip its entire fleet with high-speed internet via SpaceX Starlink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Route Network Expansion<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

By 2025, the airline will operate a total of 28 direct routes from Tallinn to various European cities. Overall, the company offers more than 130 routes from Riga, Tallinn, Vilnius, Tampere, and seasonally from Gran Canaria, connecting to destinations across Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and the Caucasus region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
