This service will operate with a stopover in Madrid, Spain, and aims to enhance air connectivity between Africa and Europe, furthering the airline&#8217;s regional expansion on the old continent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Flight Frequency and Schedules<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The new service will operate four times a week using the state-of-the-art Boeing 787 Dreamliner, ensuring a comfortable and efficient journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Flight ET740: <\/strong>Will depart from Addis Ababa on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 23:10, arriving in Madrid at 05:55 the next day. It will then depart from Madrid at 06:55, landing in Porto at 07:15.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Flight ET741:<\/strong> Will depart from Porto on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 19:55, arriving in Madrid at 21:10. Subsequently, it will depart from Madrid at 23:10, arriving in Addis Ababa at 07:25 the following day.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/en\/2025\/02\/portugal-evaluates-sale-of-at-least-49-of-tap-air.html\">Portugal Evaluates Sale of at Least 49% of TAP Air<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CEO of Ethiopian Airlines Group, Mr. Mesfin Tasew, expressed his enthusiasm for this new route, highlighting the importance of Porto as a destination with a rich cultural heritage and significant economic growth. He also emphasized the airline&#8217;s commitment to offering more travel options and seamless connectivity for its passengers. &#8220;We are thrilled to expand our network to Porto, Portugal.
