The Spanish airline Vueling <\/strong>has taken a decisive step toward the digitalization of its cabin crew and pilot training with an innovative immersive virtual reality tool. This technological solution, developed in collaboration with NTT DATA, will allow crew members to train in a hyper-realistic virtual environment, optimizing training processes and improving operational efficiency. The implementation of this technology is scheduled for the first half of 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Virtual Reality for More Efficient Training<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to this new tool, cabin crew members (CCMs) will be able to practice and repeat safety procedures in a digital environment that faithfully replicates the onboard experience. The solution includes two learning modes: a guided mode and an evaluation mode, allowing training to be tailored to the individual needs of each crew member. Additionally, the simulator is specifically designed for Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft, the models that make up Vueling’s current fleet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the Mobile World Congress 2025 (MWC25), Vueling offers attendees the opportunity to experience this new immersive training firsthand. In collaboration with Mobile World Capital, the airline provides an interactive experience that allows visitors to perform functions typical of a cabin crew member during a flight, giving them a realistic view of the work within the airline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This initiative reinforces Barcelona’s role as a global hub for innovation and digitalization, solidifying its position as a benchmark for future mobility. The partnership between Vueling and Mobile World Capital not only drives technological transformation in aviation but also fosters talent attraction and the development of disruptive solutions in the sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
