Lufthansa Group<\/strong> has achieved its goal of having at least 25% of women in management positions by the first quarter of 2025. This milestone is part of the “25by2025” initiative promoted by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), which aims to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion in the aviation sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commitment to Diversity in Aviation<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Six years ago, IATA launched the ambitious “25by2025” goal, which has been adopted by over 200 companies in the aviation industry. Lufthansa Group, as one of the world’s leading airlines, has demonstrated its commitment to this objective by increasing female representation in its management levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Michael Niggemann, a member of the Executive Board of Deutsche Lufthansa AG and responsible for Human Resources and Legal Affairs, expressed his satisfaction with this progress: “We are delighted to have increased the proportion of women in leadership positions to over 25%. We know there is still much to be done, and although progress may seem small and laborious, it is essential and necessary for sustainable development without gender discrimination.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
