The airline aims to enhance the experience for frequent travelers who use these exclusive spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Price Increases and New Membership Categories<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>According to a statement sent to customers this Monday, the airline will raise the cost of an individual United Club membership to $750 annually or 94,000 reward miles for members of its MileagePlus loyalty program. This has led to a surge in demand for exclusive spaces offering food, beverages, and comfortable seating, making them a key perk for frequent flyers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Overcrowding Problem in VIP Lounges<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In recent years, major U.S. airlines have had to address overcrowding in their VIP lounges, where long lines have sometimes extended outside the facilities. To counter this, companies have expanded their spaces, opened new locations, and restricted access for certain groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Implementation of New Fees<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>United Airlines has confirmed that the new prices take effect this Monday.
