The announcement was made by Minister Dariusz Klimczak via the social media platform X, emphasizing that the acquisition will be carried out through a leasing agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LOT\u2019s CEO, Micha\u0142 Fijo\u0142, highlighted the significance of this addition in the current aviation industry landscape. \u201cAmid global challenges related to the availability of wide-body aircraft, this achievement opens new opportunities for LOT Polish Airlines\u2019 expansion, in line with its development strategy,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2025\/03\/air-france-unveils-its-new-la-premiere-experience.html\">Air France Unveils Its New La Premi\u00e8re Experience<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Delivery Scheduled for 2026<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Fijo\u0142, the two Boeing 787-8 aircraft will be delivered in 2026. Currently, these planes are operating for another airline, though the name of the owner has not been disclosed. This acquisition is part of LOT\u2019s growth strategy, which aims to strengthen its international market presence with state-of-the-art aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Upcoming Tender for 84 Aircraft<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to this acquisition, LOT Polish Airlines is in the selection process for the purchase of 84 aircraft intended for regional routes.
