United Airlines <\/strong>announced a strategic expansion of its Pacific network this Wednesday. Starting this fall, the airline will operate new daily routes to Bangkok (Thailand) and Ho Chi Minh (Vietnam) from Hong Kong, while also becoming the first carrier to offer nonstop flights between the United States and Adelaide (Australia). Additionally, United will add a second daily frequency between San Francisco and Manila.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beginning October 26, United will become the only U.S. airline to offer daily service to Bangkok. Operated with a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, these flights will provide easy access to one of Asia\u2019s most vibrant cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Travelers can explore historic temples like Wat Phra Kaew and Wat Arun, stroll through Lumpini Park, savor street food delicacies such as mango sticky rice, and immerse themselves in the nightlife at Srinagarindra Train Night Market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visitors can enjoy iconic attractions like the Notre-Dame Cathedral of Saigon, scooter rides through rice fields, culinary experiences at pho stalls, and discover the city\u2019s growing microbrewery scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adelaide, Australia: Nonstop Service from San Francisco<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

United will make history on December 11 by becoming the first airline to offer direct flights between the U.S. and Adelaide. This seasonal route, with three weekly frequencies from San Francisco, will operate using a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adelaide serves as the gateway to renowned wine regions like Barossa Valley and McLaren Vale, as well as natural wonders such as Kangaroo Island. Tourists can also explore the city\u2019s famous Central Market, where over 70 vendors offer fresh local produce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manila, Philippines: More Options for Travelers Between the U.S. and Philippines<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting October 25, the airline will increase its daily flights between San Francisco and Manila to two. This service, operated with a Boeing 777-300ER, will provide greater flexibility for passengers with options for both daytime and nighttime flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Manila, travelers can visit historic sites like San Agustin and Fort Santiago, sample local dishes such as kwek-kwek and halo-halo, shop at the massive Mall of Asia, or take a day trip to Tagaytay to see the stunning Taal Volcano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over the past year, United transported over six million business and leisure passengers in the Pacific region, reinforcing its leadership in this market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tickets for flights to Adelaide and Manila are already available for purchase on the airline\u2019s website and app. Reservations for Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City will open soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
