This new lounge, located in Concourse D\u2014Center Point, is not only the second-largest at the airport but also offers the most seating capacity, accommodating up to 506 passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A 24,000-Square-Foot Lounge<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Part of Delta\u2019s modernization plan, this new space spans over 24,000 square feet and is designed to captivate both frequent flyers and those connecting through the heart of the U.S. South. This new space was intentionally designed to make guests feel the Southern hospitality of the city we love so much.&#8221; The opening coincides with the centennial celebrations of both Delta and ATL Airport, underscoring the symbolic value of this investment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lounge\u2019s d\u00e9cor merges Southern warmth with urban modernity. Architectural elements like a brick entrance, lattice-style screens, and coffered ceilings evoke traditional Southern style, while contemporary lighting and sleek metallic accents add a touch of urban sophistication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Local Art Celebrating Atlanta\u2019s Heritage<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Delta has elevated the sensory experience for visitors by incorporating a curated selection of artwork, much of it created by Atlanta artists. Behind the buffet, a standout tile mural depicts lush vegetation, inspired by Atlanta\u2019s nickname as the &#8220;City in a Forest.&#8221; This mural was crafted by local artist Ryan Coleman, who also designed the elevator\u2019s welcoming artwork featuring magnolias and dogwoods\u2014iconic trees of Georgia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, sepia-toned photographs by Pam Moxley, with a nostalgic aesthetic, evoke Southern summers and the region\u2019s essence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Long-Term Commitment to Atlanta<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The new Sky Club is not an isolated project but part of a comprehensive expansion strategy. Delta is extending Concourse D to add more boarding gates, accommodate larger aircraft, and improve passenger flow. Renovations are also planned for the Sky Clubs in Concourses A and C.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What\u2019s Coming in 2025 and Beyond<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Delta\u2019s Sky Club network will continue to grow. Later this year, Delta will open a Delta One Lounge and a new Sky Club in Seattle\u2019s Concourse A. A second Sky Club will debut in Salt Lake City\u2019s Concourse B.
