Arajet<\/strong>, the Dominican low-cost airline, announced the launch of a new direct connection between Santo Domingo and Boston, starting November 21, 2025. This new route is part of its expansion strategy in the competitive U.S. market, broadening its international network and offering travelers more options.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two Weekly Flights Operated with Boeing 737 MAX 8 Aircraft<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The new route will feature two weekly flights, operating on Wednesdays and Fridays. Departures from Las Am\u00e9ricas International Airport will be at 6:30 a.m., arriving in Boston at 9:45 a.m. (local time). Return flights from Massachusetts’ capital are scheduled for 11:15 a.m., landing in Santo Domingo at 4:30 p.m. (local time).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All flights will be operated with modern Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, known for their fuel efficiency and reduced environmental impact, allowing the airline to maintain low costs without compromising service quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arajet provides access to more than 20 connecting destinations, including countries such as Mexico, Colombia, Jamaica, Aruba, and other regions in the Caribbean and Latin America. This network positions Boston as a strategic hub for travelers looking to explore multiple destinations without unnecessary layovers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Boston: Arajet\u2019s Fourth U.S. Destination<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

With this addition, Boston becomes the airline\u2019s fourth U.S. destination. The expansion into the U.S. market has been accelerating: last month, Arajet began operations to Miami, while San Juan (Puerto Rico) and New York are set to launch on June 4 and June 16, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This rapid growth reflects the airline\u2019s ambition to establish itself as a relevant and competitive option for travelers between Latin America and the U.S.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Direct Competition with JetBlue<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The new route places Arajet in direct competition with JetBlue, which until now was the only airline offering nonstop flights between Santo Domingo and Boston. With affordable prices and a robust network of connections, Arajet aims to capture a significant share of the market, particularly among Latino travelers and Dominicans residing in New England.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
