WestJet <\/strong>has taken a significant step toward strengthening its transatlantic network by announcing a major expansion of its codeshare agreements with European carriers Air France and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines<\/strong>. This enhancement will allow Canadian travelers to access 59 destinations in Europe this summer with a streamlined and more connected experience, all through a single booking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seamless and Direct Connections<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to these expanded agreements, passengers flying with WestJet can now connect through Amsterdam-Schiphol and Paris-Charles de Gaulle international airports to a wide range of European cities without the need for multiple tickets or complicated baggage transfers. The entire journey\u2014including connecting flights operated by Air France or KLM\u2014can be managed under a single reservation, with WestJet Rewards points accumulated from start to finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The greatest impact will be felt by travelers departing from or connecting through Halifax and St. John\u2019s. This region is now a key gateway for flying to Europe without unnecessary layovers, reducing wait times and improving the travel experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
