The Spanish airline Plus Ultra L\u00edneas A\u00e9reas<\/strong> and Italy\u2019s ITA Airways<\/strong> have signed an interline agreement, enabling passengers to travel between Italy and South America with a single booking, including a layover at Madrid-Barajas Airport. This partnership significantly enhances connectivity between the two continents and positions Madrid as a key hub for international air transit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One Ticket, Multiple Destinations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to this alliance, travelers can purchase a single electronic ticket covering the entire journey, from their origin in South America to Italian cities such as Rome, Milan, Naples, Florence, or Venice. The primary advantage is convenience: passengers won\u2019t need to worry about multiple bookings or check-ins, as the entire itinerary is integrated under one code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These tickets are available through major Global Distribution Systems (GDS), travel agencies, and directly via Plus Ultra\u2019s channels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond domestic routes in Italy, this alliance also provides access to high-traffic international routes operated by ITA, including Tel Aviv, Dubai, Riyadh, and Jeddah, making this collaboration a strategic gateway to Asia and the Middle East.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this initiative, Plus Ultra expands its destination network without operating additional flights, while ITA Airways strengthens its presence in the Latin American market.
