The inaugural flight took off this Wednesday at 12:20 p.m. from Las Am\u00e9ricas International Airport and landed 40 minutes later in the Puerto Rican capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This service, which will operate four times a week\u2014on Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays\u2014aims to facilitate travel between the two destinations and strengthen economic, tourism, and cultural ties. Additionally, starting June 6, Arajet will connect <strong>Punta Cana directly to San Juan<\/strong> with three weekly flights, increasing to four as of July 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The inaugural flight was attended by the Dominican Republic\u2019s Minister of Tourism, David Collado, and Arajet\u2019s CEO and founder, V\u00edctor Pacheco M\u00e9ndez. Together, they raised the Dominican and Puerto Rican flags as a symbol of the strengthening of this new regional route. A considerable percentage of these seats were sold within the first 48 hours of sales opening, demonstrating strong public interest in this new connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Gateway from San Juan to 11 Destinations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Arajet\u2019s arrival in San Juan is more than just a new route: it\u2019s a gateway. Through its hubs in Santo Domingo and Punta Cana, the airline will enable Puerto Rican travelers to connect to destinations such as Aruba, Jamaica, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, and Peru.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These connections are designed to optimize travel times and reduce costs, aligning with the efficiency and operational safety model that has defined Arajet since its founding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">On Course for a Network of 28 Destinations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Arajet continues its expansion with a clear goal: to close 2025 with 28 destinations across 17 countries and over 250 connections throughout North, Central, and South America.
