In collaboration with Baltimore-based technology company ReBokeh Vision Technologies, the airport now offers free and unlimited access to the ReBokeh app, a tool designed for individuals with low vision. With this initiative, MIA positions itself as the first airport worldwide to implement this exclusive technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Technological Innovation for Visual Independence<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The ReBokeh app is available for Apple device users. It operates by leveraging the phone\u2019s camera to overlay customizable filters that adjust contrast, color tone, zoom, and lighting according to each user\u2019s individual needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, it features the new ReBokeh AI function, which allows travelers to interact more extensively with an artificial intelligence tool. Users can ask questions like, \u201cWhat\u2019s around me?\u201d or \u201cWhat am I looking at?\u201d and receive responses tailored to their context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI am thrilled that MIA is now the first airport in the world to offer ReBokeh\u2019s innovation to our travelers with visual challenges. Improving accessibility in Miami-Dade County is one of my top priorities. That\u2019s why I am proud to introduce the ReBokeh app to the millions of visitors we welcome each year. Navigating MIA will now be easier for our low-vision community,\u201d emphasized Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2025\/05\/approved-construction-of-miami-airports-new-concourse-k.html\">Approved: Construction of Miami Airport\u2019s New Concourse K<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Practical Applications Within the Airport<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Travelers with low vision can use ReBokeh in various ways: reading signs and boarding gates, clarifying arrival and departure monitors, or locating restaurants, shops, or VIP lounges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ReBokeh AI also supports multiple languages and automatically adapts to the user\u2019s device language settings, offering additional functionality as a tool for translating signage and visual information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rebecca Rosenberg, founder and CEO of ReBokeh Vision Technologies, noted: \u201cAs a frequent traveler with low vision, I understand what it means to rely on my own sight in an airport. In 2023, the airport became the first in Florida and the second in the United States to earn the Accessibility Enhancement Accreditation from the Airport Council International, recognizing its commitment to inclusivity for passengers with disabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this initiative, MIA reinforces its dedication to inclusion, solidifying its role as a global leader in airport
