The agreement was finalized during the Paris Air Show, with the signing ceremony attended by STARLUX CEO Glenn Chai and Beno\u00eet de Saint-Exup\u00e9ry, Executive Vice President of Sales for Airbus Commercial Aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Current Fleet and Expansion Commitment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>STARLUX currently operates an all-Airbus fleet of 28 aircraft, including A350-900, A330neo, and A321neo models. In addition to this new order, the airline already had 30 more units on backlog, including A350F freighters and additional A350-1000s, further solidifying its commitment to next-generation aircraft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Expanding our international fleet with more A350-1000s is a key step in strengthening our global presence and enhancing connectivity in strategic markets,&#8221; stated Glenn Chai. He emphasized that this model offers operational efficiency, intercontinental range, and a superior passenger experience, making it essential for STARLUX&#8217;s long-haul operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2025\/05\/starlux-airlines-to-connect-taipei-and-phoenix-starting-in-2026.html\">Starlux Airlines to Connect Taipei and Phoenix Starting in 2026<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beno\u00eet de Saint-Exup\u00e9ry highlighted that STARLUX&#8217;s decision reaffirms the A350-1000 as a benchmark for long-haul flights. &#8220;With its advanced design and fuel-efficient performance, this aircraft enables airlines to optimize routes and minimize environmental impact,&#8221; he noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A350-1000: Technological Leadership and Sustainability<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Airbus A350 is regarded as the most modern and efficient wide-body aircraft in the world. Designed for non-stop flights of up to 9,700 nautical miles (18,000 kilometers), it features state-of-the-art Rolls-Royce engines. Its fuel consumption is 25% lower than previous-generation models, resulting in a similar reduction in carbon emissions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this addition, STARLUX enhances its operational
