LATAM Airlines<\/strong> inaugurated two new international routes between Brazil and Argentina on Monday, June 23, with an average occupancy rate of 90% on the initial flights. The new connections link Rio de Janeiro\/Gale\u00e3o to Buenos Aires\/Ezeiza and S\u00e3o Paulo\/Guarulhos to Bariloche. These operations reinforce the airline\u2019s strategy to enhance connectivity in South America, amid high tourist demand between the two countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bariloche: Betting on Argentina\u2019s Winter Season<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Guarulhos\u2013Bariloche route is specifically designed for the winter season, one of the peak periods for tourist travel to southern Argentina. This seasonal operation will run with daily flights until August 31.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The inaugural flight was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Guarulhos Airport, attended by Aline Mafra, LATAM Brazil\u2019s Sales and Marketing Director, and Cl\u00e1udio Ferreira, GRU Airport\u2019s Customer and New Business Director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During winter, Bariloche is one of the top destinations for Brazilian tourists, and the revival of this direct operation enhances connectivity and offers greater convenience for passengers,\u201d said Ferreira.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, the regular route between Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires launched with daily flights and is initially planned to operate until March 2026. This connection represents a firm step in LATAM\u2019s commitment to strengthening tourism and business ties between the two countries\u2019 major cities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
