Air Europa <\/strong>has taken a new step to enhance its passengers’ experience: it has extended its AE Media<\/strong> entertainment service to its entire Boeing 737<\/strong> fleet, allowing travelers to enjoy multimedia content on flights lasting one to four hours using their own mobile devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This implementation, which has been available since mid-last month after a brief testing phase on select flights, significantly expands onboard entertainment options for short- and medium-haul passengers\u2014a segment historically limited in this regard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AE Media: Premium Offline Content<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The standout feature is the ability to access movies, documentaries, and series\u2014including titles from HBO and Max Originals\u2014without an internet connection during the flight. The entire process is managed through AE Media, a free app available for Android, iOS, and Huawei devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

24 hours before the flight, passengers receive a message with a download link for the app and a unique access code for their flight. From that moment, they can browse the available catalog and download up to three titles to enjoy during their journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once onboard, the user enters their flight number into the app, and the crew provides a second code to unlock playback of the pre-downloaded content. If the trip includes a return flight, the process is repeated with a new code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“In our Customer and Product departments, we put ourselves in the passengers’ shoes to understand and meet their needs. AE Media is a solution designed so our customers can enjoy their journey, even on short- and medium-haul flights without connectivity,” said Alexis Capdevila, Head of Entertainment & Connectivity at Air Europa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More Choices, More Control, Better Experience<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

With this initiative, Air Europa not only enhances onboard entertainment but also continues to advance service personalization. Passengers can choose their seat type, dining options, and even how they wish to be entertained during the flight\u2014even on trips under four hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The decision to enable AE Media on Boeing 737s reinforces the airline’s commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction, ensuring every flight is tailored to the tastes and needs of today’s travelers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
