Tocumen International Airport in Panama City <\/strong>continues to solidify its position as a hub for connectivity in Latin America and the Caribbean. During the first half of 2025, it handled 10,041,207 passengers, reflecting a 7% growth compared to the same period the previous year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Track to Reach 20 Million Passengers in 2025<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

With this sustained momentum, projections indicate that Tocumen could exceed 20 million passengers by the end of the year, surpassing the 19.2 million recorded in 2024. This forecast is not only optimistic but also backed by solid data demonstrating stable performance in traffic and operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

June: A Month of High Performance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In June 2025 alone, the airport processed 1,726,667 passengers, with a notable 72% of them being connecting flights. The daily average reached 57,000 travelers, with peak activity on Fridays, Sundays, and Mondays. This dynamic confirms the airport’s operational efficiency and its capacity to function as a nerve center for regional traffic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
