According to official data from the Civil Aviation Analytics Office, the country&#8217;s airports handled <strong>27,482,000 passengers<\/strong> during the first six months of 2025. This figure represents an increase of 572,000 passengers compared to the same period in the previous year, when 26,910,000 travelers were recorded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">June: A Key Month for the Upward Trend<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>June reaffirmed this upward trajectory. That month alone saw 4,821,000 passengers, surpassing June 2024&#8217;s numbers by 43,000. Air cargo movement also reflects a positive trend. In the first half of 2025, 478,903 tons of cargo were transported\u2014an increase of 13,080 tons compared to the same period in 2024, when 465,823 tons were handled. This represents a 2.8% growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In June of this year, 70,991 tons of cargo were transported to and from Colombia, marking a 3.5% increase compared to the 68,570 tons recorded in the same month the previous year. This further solidifies the country&#8217;s position as a key logistics hub in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This sustained growth is supported by an increasingly robust international connectivity
