This new record underscores the Brazilian manufacturer\u2019s accelerated recovery and highlights the strength of its four business units: Commercial Aviation, Executive Aviation, Defense &amp; Security, and Services &amp; Support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Commercial Aviation: Record Backlog and Major Orders<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Commercial Aviation division ended the quarter with a backlog of $13.1 billion, the highest in the last eight years and just below the all-time high of $13.4 billion recorded in Q4 2017. This represents a 31% increase compared to Q1 2025 and a 16% rise year-over-year (YoY).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A key milestone was the delivery of the 1,000th E175 since its launch in 2005, reflecting sustained demand for this regional aircraft model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the quarter, Embraer secured two major agreements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>SkyWest placed a firm order for 60 E175s, with purchase rights for 50 additional units.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) agreed to purchase 45 E195-E2s, with an option for 10 more. This marks SAS\u2019s largest direct aircraft acquisition in the last three decades.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The company delivered 19 commercial aircraft, matching the same period in 2024, bringing the first-half total to 26 deliveries\u201432% of its annual target (77\u201385 aircraft). This figure is slightly below the five-year average for the period (35%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2025\/07\/royal-air-maroc-considers-adding-embraer-e2-aircraft-to-ambitious-fleet-renewal-plan.html\">Royal Air Maroc Considers Adding Embraer E2 Aircraft to Ambitious Fleet Renewal Plan<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deliveries included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>E175: Republic Airlines (5), SkyWest (2), Horizon Air (2)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>E190-E2: Azorra (1)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>E195-E2: Aercap (3), Azorra (2), Mexicana (1), Royal Jordanian (1), Binter (1), ICBC (1)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Embraer anticipates that its production stabilization strategy will become more evident in the second half of the year and beyond, starting in 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Executive Aviation: Strong Delivery Growth and Backlog<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Executive Aviation division reported a backlog of $7.4 billion, up 62% YoY but down 2% compared to the previous quarter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deliveries reached 38 executive jets, a 41% YoY increase from 27 in Q2 2024. In the first half of the year, the division delivered 61 aircraft, representing 41% of its annual projection (145\u2013155 aircraft) and exceeding the five-year average by 8 percentage points (32%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Defense &amp; Security: International Expansion and Key Deliveries<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Defense &amp; Security segment\u2019s backlog reached $4.3 billion, double the figure from a year ago and up 3% from Q1 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the quarter, four A-29 Super Tucano aircraft were delivered to the Paraguayan Air Force. Notable contracts included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lithuania selected the C-390 Millennium to enhance its military capabilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Portugal added a sixth KC-390 Millennium to its fleet.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A letter of intent was signed to include 10 additional purchase options in Embraer\u2019s contract with the Portuguese Air Force, aimed at future acquisitions by European or NATO member countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other agreements not yet reflected in the backlog include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sweden: 4 C-390 Millennium units<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Slovakia: 3 C-390 Millennium units<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Portugal: 1 additional C-390 unit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Panama: 4 A-29 Super Tucano aircraft<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Services &amp; Support: Key Contracts and Advanced Connectivity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Services &amp; Support unit increased its backlog to $4.9 billion, up 55% YoY and 5% from Q1 2025, driven by multiple contracts signed during the quarter. Key highlights:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A new maintenance agreement with CommuteAir for its base at Perot Field Alliance Airport in Fort Worth, Texas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Implementation of a full-flight simulator in Madrid for E2 model customers, in partnership with CAE.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>An extended agreement with Regional One, doubling passenger-to-freighter (P2F) conversion orders from 2 to 4, with Bridges Air Cargo as the launch customer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, progress was made in connectivity:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Phenom 300 will receive the Gogo Galileo HDX system via STC in collaboration with Gogo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Viasat will install advanced Wi-Fi connectivity on Aerom\u00e9xico\u2019s E190s.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>With robust performance across all divisions, rising deliveries, and significant contracts bolstering its global outlook, Embraer enters the second half of the year with high expectations.
