The German airline will increase its service to five weekly flights, an expansion that will be in effect from June 1 to October 20, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Flights will be available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, representing a significant jump from the current offering of three weekly frequencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Operations are carried out with an Airbus A330-300, configured in three classes with 255 seats: 42 in Business Class, 28 in Premium Economy, and 185 in Economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2025\/08\/lufthansa-receives-its-first-boeing-787-with-allegris-cabin.html\">Lufthansa Receives Its First Boeing 787 with Allegris Cabin<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dirk Janzen, Vice President of Passenger Sales for the Americas for the Lufthansa Group, highlighted the key role of local support: &#8220;We are deeply grateful for the exceptional support from the St. Louis community over the past three years, which has allowed us to fulfill our mission of connecting people, cultures, and economies. The additional frequencies will further support the ties between the region&#8217;s vibrant academia and its Fortune 500 companies, all of which have deep connections with Europe,&#8221; he stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With this move, Lufthansa reinforces its position as the only European airline offering direct connections between the Old Continent and the &#8220;Gateway City.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>St. Louis is one of the 26 gateways that Lufthansa maintains in the United States. Through its hubs in Austria, Belgium, Germany, and Switzerland, the airline group offers its customers access to nearly 300 destinations in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The increased frequency strengthens Missouri&#8217;s transatlantic connectivity and opens new opportunities for the business, educational, and tourism sectors of the U.S.
