Brazilian aviation is experiencing a pivotal moment, and LATAM Airlines<\/strong> is at the forefront. According to data from the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC), the airline ended the first half of 2025 with a historic nearly 30% growth in its domestic seat capacity compared to the same period in 2019 (pre-pandemic). This performance means the company now operates the largest air network in its history in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Expansion of Capacity in Brazil<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the first six months of 2025, LATAM offered 22.6 million seats on domestic flights\u2014a 27% increase compared to 2019. In the international segment, it reached 4.3 million seats, a 3% growth. In total, the airline provided 26.9 million seats in the Brazilian market, representing a 22% increase compared to the pre-pandemic period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More Destinations and New Routes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Connectivity also saw a significant leap. LATAM increased from 44 to 56 domestic airports between 2019 and 2025, in addition to expanding its routes from 123 to 138. In the international market, it currently operates 23 direct destinations from Brazil and 38 routes, compared to 35 in 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2192 LATAM Airlines Introduces Its New Premium Comfort Class<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In September 2025, the company will take another step: it will introduce flights to Bonito, Dourados, and Parna\u00edba, reaching a record of 59 airports served in the country. In the second half of the year alone, 12 domestic routes\u2014such as Guarulhos-Bonito, Congonhas-S\u00e3o Lu\u00eds, and Bras\u00edlia-Foz do Igua\u00e7u\u2014and 6 international routes, including Florian\u00f3polis-Lima and Guarulhos-Rosario, will be launched.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More Daily Flights and Sustained Growth<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The airline\u2019s average number of daily domestic flights in August 2025 was 736, compared to 616 in 2019. In the international market, although the number decreased from 89 to 64, the total daily operations reached 800\u2014a 13.5% increase compared to pre-pandemic levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This expansion is also supported by fleet growth: in August 2025, LATAM had 169 aircraft, compared to 158 at the end of 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More Passengers On Board<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The rebound in demand is clear. In the first half of 2025, the company carried 18.3 million domestic passengers, a 27% increase. On international flights, the number reached 3.6 million, 4% more than in 2019. In total, 22 million travelers chose LATAM during this period\u2014a 23% increase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Higher Occupancy and Market Leadership<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Efficiency levels also improved. The domestic load factor in August 2025 was 86%, compared to 82% in 2019. In the international segment, the rate increased from 86% to 87%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to ANAC, LATAM has held the leading market share in both domestic and international flights in Brazil since 2021. Additionally, for the second consecutive year, it was recognized as the preferred airline by corporate travelers, according to the Brazilian Association of Corporate Travel Agencies (Abracorp).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
