Austrian Airlines <\/strong>will launch a new product called the “Dubai Deal” <\/strong>starting December 1, 2025, offering five weekly flights between Vienna and Dubai <\/strong>onboard the Airbus A320neo. The round-trip fare starts at \u20ac314, a price designed to attract passengers seeking an economical option during the peak winter season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiative will remain in a trial phase until March 2026, taking advantage of the extra capacity the airline has available during the winter months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“With our Dubai Deal, we want to make Dubai attractive for price-conscious travelers, whether for shopping, sightseeing, or enjoying the sun. Winter always brings surplus capacity, so we want to try something new and bold,” explained Austrian Airlines CEO, Annette Mann.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Different Approach: Narrow-Body Aircraft for a Long-Haul Destination<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The route will be operated with the A320neo, instead of wide-body aircraft. This strategy will allow Austrian to maximize the use of aircraft that would otherwise be on the ground during winter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although the service will not feature an inflight entertainment system, passengers will have new options to customize their travel experience. The company promises smart extras, small onboard touches, and its renowned catering service through the Austrian Melangerie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mann emphasized: “An aircraft in the air is always better than one on the ground. We know this route has strong and very comfortable competition, but by utilizing aircraft that would be idle, we can afford to take a bold step and challenge the market.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
