Fortaleza, the capital of Cear\u00e1 and one of the airline&#8217;s main hubs, now connects with Parna\u00edba, a city renowned for its paradisiacal landscapes on the coast of Piau\u00ed and a key part of the &#8220;Rota das Emo\u00e7\u00f5es&#8221; (Route of Emotions).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The inauguration ceremony featured ribbon-cutting events at both airports and solidified Parna\u00edba as LATAM&#8217;s 59th destination in Brazil, a milestone reflecting the steady expansion of its network in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Operational Details<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The route will operate with two weekly frequencies on Thursdays and Saturdays using Airbus A319 and A320 aircraft, with a capacity for up to 174 passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Thursdays: Departure from Fortaleza at 10:25 and return from Parna\u00edba at 12:05.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Saturdays: Departure from Fortaleza at 14:05 and return from Parna\u00edba at 15:45.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2025\/09\/latam-launches-ai-powered-virtual-agent-to-transform-travel-planning.html\">LATAM Launches AI-Powered Virtual Agent to Transform Travel Planning<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eduardo Macedo, Head of Public Affairs for LATAM Brasil, emphasized that the airline is the largest investor in the Brazilian market and that this new route will facilitate access for both domestic and international travelers to a unique destination like Parna\u00edba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Record Expansion in 2025<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>With the addition of Parna\u00edba, LATAM now serves 59 airports in Brazil, adding three new destinations in September alone, following the recent launches of services to Bonito and Dourados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the first half of 2025, the airline increased its domestic Available Seat Kilometer (ASK) capacity by 8.5% and projects year-end growth between 9.5% and 10.5%. This year, it has already commenced operations to Pelotas, Fernando de Noronha, Ribeir\u00e3o Preto, Campinas, Bonito, and Dourados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LATAM maintains its leadership in the international market with flights from Brazil to 90 international destinations, with capacity expansion of up to 11%.
