Cathay Pacific<\/strong> announced this Monday that it will reconnect Hong Kong with Seattle<\/strong> starting 30 March 2026. The airline will operate five direct round-trip flights per week, enhancing the connectivity of its Asian hub with one of the most dynamic cities on the US West Coast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This move makes Seattle Cathay Pacific’s ninth passenger destination in North America, solidifying the expansion strategy the airline has been developing on the continent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sustained Growth in the North American Market<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Simultaneously, the company continues to increase its capacity in the United States. In April of this year, it launched its direct route to Dallas-Fort Worth. This service currently operates four times weekly and will transition to a daily schedule from 26 October 2025 due to strong demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lavinia Lau, Chief Commercial and Customer Officer at Cathay Pacific, emphasized that the return to Seattle will strengthen commercial and cultural ties between Hong Kong and a major US technology hub. She added that the route will facilitate the growing need for connectivity between Asia and North America, particularly for travelers from Mainland China and India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Schedules and Assigned Aircraft<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The flights will be operated using the Airbus A350-900, aircraft equipped with fully flat beds in Business Class, spacious seats in Premium Economy, and enhanced comfort in Economy Class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
