Avianca<\/strong> announced from Toronto during its participation in the Exoticca event on September 23 that it will close out 2025 with a significant expansion of its operations in Canada<\/strong>. The airline will launch approximately 30 weekly frequencies connecting Toronto and Montreal with Bogot\u00e1 and San Salvador, thereby solidifying a direct bridge between North America, Central America, and South America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The San Salvador\u2013Toronto route, which operated with seven weekly frequencies during December 2023 and January 2024, will grow to 11 weekly frequencies during the same period in 2025 and 2026. Meanwhile, the Bogot\u00e1\u2013Toronto route will maintain 11 frequencies, the Bogot\u00e1\u2013Montreal route will operate with 4 frequencies, and San Salvador\u2013Montreal will add 3 frequencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this strategy, the company ensures a robust network to meet the demand of the Canadian market and offer fast connections to more than 80 destinations in 25 countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rolando Damas, Avianca’s Sales Director for North America and Europe, emphasized: “Avianca is proud to participate in the Exoticca showroom to continue strengthening our relationship with travel agencies and partners. It is also an opportunity to share that later this year, we will add four frequencies to the San Salvador\u2013Toronto route, thereby increasing direct connectivity from Canada to Central America and, from there, to the rest of our network, which already includes 165 routes across more than 80 destinations in 25 countries.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
