According to Boeing, this order will support the creation of more than 123,000 jobs in the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Expansion in the Single-Aisle Segment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The company also communicated its intention to acquire up to 150 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, which will represent its largest single-aisle aircraft order from Boeing once finalized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With these two deals, Turkish Airlines will double its fleet of aircraft from the American manufacturer, expanding its capacity and consolidating its international network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/\/aviacionaldia.com\/en\/2025\/09\/turkish-airlines-lands-in-seville-its-sixth-destination-in-spain.html\">Turkish Airlines Lands in Seville: Its Sixth Destination in Spain<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Chairman of the Board and the Executive Committee of Turkish Airlines, Prof. Ahmet Bolat, emphasized that the agreement is much more than a fleet expansion: &#8220;It is a reflection of our leadership in the industry, as well as our dedication to innovation and operational excellence. These advanced aircraft will be a key element of our Vision 2033, which aims to expand the fleet to 800 aircraft.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Turkish Airlines: Global Network and Modernization<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Turkey&#8217;s flag carrier already operates more than 200 Boeing aircraft, including the 787-9, 777-300, 737 MAX, 737 Next-Generation, and 777 Freighter models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the introduction of the 787-10, Turkish Airlines will gain greater passenger and cargo capacity, along with improved fuel efficiency on high-demand routes connecting Istanbul with the United States, Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The President and CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes, Stephanie Pope, stated: &#8220;We are honored that Turkish Airlines has once again chosen the 787 Dreamliner and the 737 MAX to power its future growth.
