At the International Tourism Fair (FIT), Aerol\u00edneas Argentinas<\/strong> presented its plan for the upcoming peak Austral summer season, focusing on domestic travel and international beach destinations. The domestic operation will bolster its main routes from Buenos Aires, with 69 weekly frequencies to C\u00f3rdoba, 63 to Bariloche, 60 to Mendoza, 51 to Ushuaia, 45 to Iguaz\u00fa, 40 to El Calafate, 38 to Salta, 36 to Tucum\u00e1n, and 32 to Mar del Plata.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Furthermore, connectivity will be increased to Comodoro Rivadavia, Neuqu\u00e9n, Rosario, Jujuy, Bah\u00eda Blanca, and Trelew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notable interline routes include 16 weekly flights for Ushuaia\u2013El Calafate, 6 for Bariloche\u2013El Calafate, 4 for Tucum\u00e1n\u2013Mar del Plata, 4 for C\u00f3rdoba\u2013Tucum\u00e1n, and 4 for Salta\u2013Iguaz\u00fa, in addition to connections like C\u00f3rdoba\u2013Mendoza, C\u00f3rdoba\u2013Jujuy, and Mar del Plata\u2013Rosario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uruguay: New Routes from Brazil and Increased Frequencies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The airline will resume fifth-freedom rights \u2014which it had not used since 2012\u2014 to operate flights between Brazil and Uruguay. Starting December 25th until January 31st, there will be two weekly frequencies on the Sao Paulo\u2013Punta del Este route. From Porto Alegre, the route will operate the same number of flights, between December 26th and January 31st.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Argentina, the schedule includes 28 weekly frequencies to Punta del Este (5 more than the last season), 16 to Montevideo (2 additional compared to 2025), and 2 weekly C\u00f3rdoba\u2013Punta del Este flights, available on Thursdays and Saturdays starting January 1st.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brazil: New Route to Cabo Frio and More Flights to Tourist Destinations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

One of the new developments is the addition of Cabo Frio, the gateway to Buzios and Arraial do Cabo. Between January 3rd and April 5th, there will be two weekly frequencies from Buenos Aires and another two from Rosario, both operating on Saturdays and Sundays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
